Wow. I’ve finally done it. What I once thought was a far reaching pipe dream, finally became reality on October 11 when I anchored Bloomberg’s First Word bulletin, live.

Reading the news is something I’ve wanted to do since I was at school… and while I’ve enjoyed doing it on the radio, doing it on TV would always be a special goal.

I’ve been setting up my own screen tests since the summer, eagerly badgering managers for feedback on how I can improve each delivery until producers were finally given the green light to include me in their lineups.

My contract ends at the end of December, so I plan to put together a showreel and send it off  to see what happens… watch this space.
