How Pricing Works

Pricing is based on the work involved, the level of production required and the finished content you need. Video production is priced according to the filming time and post-production required to create the finished film. Photography and podcast production are generally offered as fixed packages, making it easier to understand the cost before work begins. For projects with a clearly defined brief, a fixed quotation can be agreed in advance. Where the scope is less certain, hourly pricing can be more suitable. Any changes to an agreed quotation will always be discussed before additional costs are incurred.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

Charged from £175 for the first hour, then £75 an hour after, with a two hour minimum booking. This covers filming and editing together, budgeted at roughly four hours of post-production for every hour filmed, so the price shown by the booking form is an estimate for the finished, professionally produced video, not simply a charge for time spent on site. This approach works well for corporate films, promotional videos, recruitment content, case studies and training videos, where the amount of editing can vary. It’s often that final costs come in lower than the estimate. A fixed project fee can also be provided where the brief, filming requirements and deliverables are clearly defined.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Offered as a series of fixed packages, agreed before the shoot, from £295 for up to one hour, £400 for up to two hours, £550 for a half day and £850 for a full day. Every package includes the photography itself, professional editing and delivery of the finished images. Shorter bookings suit portraits, headshots and smaller business content, longer bookings suit events, conferences, multiple locations or projects needing comprehensive coverage.

PODCAST PRODUCTION

Priced around the finished production rather than simply the time spent recording. Recording only starts from £175, with raw files supplied. Recording plus production runs from £350 to £500, and a full video podcast runs from £500 to £750. Support can include planning, recording, professional audio, editing and delivery, adjusted depending on the format and requirements, whether that’s a single episode, a limited series or ongoing production.

Practical, on-site presenter and media training, drawing on genuine broadcast experience, priced at £1,000 per day.

For organisations that need content regularly rather than a single project, retained support offers continuous access with priority scheduling and preferential rates compared with booking each piece of work separately. Regular content might include monthly video production, ongoing photography, podcast episodes, recruitment content, internal communications, or a mixture of formats. The initial term is three, six, nine or twelve months, renewing automatically on a rolling basis, with 30 days’ written notice to end the arrangement at any term.

Every project runs through five stages, whether it’s a video, a photoshoot or a podcast: planning, where objectives get set; pre-production, covering scripting or shot lists, locations and scheduling; production itself; post-production, the edit, colour, sound or retouching; and promotion advice on getting the finished piece in front of the right audience.

It depends on scope, but turnaround is genuinely fast once filming, shooting or recording is done, edits are typically ready within one to two weeks depending on project complexity.
