When Citizens Advice Watford gave their website a redesign, they tasked me to produce some new images showcasing their volunteers along with impactful imagery for future campaigns and press releases.

The Covid Chronicles: Life Under Lockdown, is a collection of 15 photos – and an impressive A2 montage featuring over 100 locals – capturing the community spirit when the nation showed their appreciation for keyworkers and the NHS.

2020 changed everything. But it was also a time for community spirit, volunteering and neighbourly togetherness.

Following on from the exciting news that Watford Museum is to exhibit my photos documenting Watford’s changing landscape during lockdown, I have created a large montage, featuring over 100 Watford residents from the Thursday night #clapsforkeyworkers.

My photography project ‘The Covid Chronicles | Life under lockdown in Watford’ is to be exhibited and archived at the Watford Museum as a record of these strange times during coronavirus.

It’s not every day you get to say you’ve had a stroll around a radioactive ghost town. But this year, for my birthday, that’s exactly what I did… and the deserted towns within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone were every bit as hauntingly beautiful as I had imagined.

I love a December wedding; romance is always in the air along with fragrances of mulled wine, sprigs of pine and – in the case of Kit & Jen’s wedding – fireworks.
