After a packed few months working on various video and podcast projects, I’m proud to share the launch of a video that means a lot to me both professionally and personally.
I was commissioned by Watford BID to produce a video that would inform and inspire local businesses ahead of the upcoming BID ballot. From filming and editing to post-production and delivery, this was a production that brought together voices from across Watford’s business community, with clips from projects compiled over several years.
The video features leaders from a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, retail, leisure and the public sector. Each person shares why the BID matters and what a YES vote would mean for the future of Watford Town Centre.
The ballot runs from 12 September to 9 October 2025, and if successful, will unlock over £3 million of investment between 2026 and 2031. The BID’s vision is to make Watford a dynamic, safe and welcoming place where businesses can thrive and people want to visit.
The five key priorities in the new business plan are:
- Improving the town centre experience
- Promoting Watford as a destination
- Supporting business growth
- Championing collaboration
- Embracing sustainability and innovation
It was a pleasure to work with so many passionate individuals, including: Carol Andrea, Iain Milton, Samantha Ford, Robert Walker, Saffron Johnson, Donna Lawrie, Kwame Tefe, Mark Ryan, Lavanya Gamsani, Peter Taylor, Kara Mesiano, Simon Plumb and Andy Wiseman.

It is always rewarding to see a piece of work spark real engagement and action. Even more so when it is for a place I care deeply about.
