I recently had the privilege of working with the Hertfordshire and West Essex Local Maternity and Neonatal System to produce a series of awareness videos for their Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships. These partnerships operate across West Essex, West Hertfordshire and Lister Hospital and they play a vital role in shaping local maternity and neonatal services.

Each partnership brings together parents, healthcare professionals and community organisations with one shared goal: to make sure families’ voices are heard and acted upon. They gather feedback from those who use the services every day, identify opportunities for improvement and co-produce changes that make a real difference.

The videos I created were commissioned by the Local Maternity and Neonatal System within the Integrated Care Board. They were filmed in September 2025 and are designed to raise awareness of the partnerships’ work and encourage families to get involved. These videos will be shown at local events, shared on social media and displayed across hospital sites.

As Chloe Ribiero, West Essex Maternity Lead, said:
“It is vital that people using maternity and neonatal services have the chance to help shape them and make real improvements.”

Toni Amos, Lister MNVP Maternity Lead, explained:
“We are here to listen to feedback from every voice and every family.”

Jo McHugh, West Hertfordshire MNVP Neonatal Lead, added:
“This has been a great opportunity to raise the profile of our work and share it with local families in Stevenage, Harlow and Watford.”

This project was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the important work these partnerships do and to help amplify the voices of families in Hertfordshire and Essex.

My role

I managed the entire process from pre-production and filming through to editing and delivery. My aim was to create content that feels authentic and engaging while clearly communicating the partnerships’ mission. This is exactly what I love to do: telling stories that matter for organisations that make a difference.

The NHS is a repeat client of mine and they return to me because I consistently deliver high quality video content that meets their needs and exceeds expectations.

If your organisation needs high quality video content to share your message whether for internal communications, public awareness or social media campaigns I would love to help. Get in touch and let me bring your vision to life.

My thanks to Rebecca Wilkie for the behind-the-scenes photos!
