The brief
Charles Simpson Organisation commissioned the production of content to market Clifton Park, one of its residential park home sites in Bedfordshire. Their sales and lettings team sent a message via the website with a clear brief in three parts.
First, high quality photography of the park itself, showing off the clean, tidy and well spaced homes, the green space and nature around them, and the community hub at the heart of the site. Second, three video testimonials from people who actually live there. Third, a visual presentation of the park carried by a professional voiceover.
The point of all of it was trust. Anyone weighing up a move into park home living wants to know what it is really like day to day, and the best people to tell them are the residents themselves.
The approach
Pre-production started in late August once the booking was confirmed. Everything, from the photography to the three interviews and the footage for the presentation, was planned around a single day on site. That kept costs sensible and meant less disruption for the residents.
Timing mattered too. With the evenings drawing in, a September date was recommended, rather than risking the loss of usable light in mid October and the need for return visits. We settled on 23rd September 2026.
The Charles Simpson team drafted a set of interview questions, which were then refined together so each resident could talk about:
- What first drew them to Clifton Park when they were looking to move
- Their favourite part of living there, and what they’d miss most if they left
- What they wish they’d known before switching to park home living
- The advice they’d give anyone thinking of making the move
That last question is the one that sells it. Hearing it from a neighbour lands very differently to reading it in a brochure.
One day on site at Clifton Park
The project involved managing the whole process from brief through to final delivery, working alongside the Charles Simpson sales and lettings manager, who lined up the residents taking part. The day included:
- Interviewing three residents on the park, keeping it relaxed and conversational rather than scripted
- Photographing the park to show the space between homes, how well kept the site is and the nature on its doorstep
- Capturing the community hub, the social side of park life that pictures of homes alone can’t show
- Filming footage for the visual presentation, then cutting it to a professional voiceover
- Editing each testimonial so the residents’ own words carry the story
Drafts were shared through a dedicated client portal, which kept everything in one place and made it easy for the team to review cuts and pass them up to the directors for sign off.

The result
Charles Simpson Organisation now has a complete marketing package for Clifton Park: a library of photography, three resident testimonials and a voiced presentation of the site, ready to use wherever they market the park.
After reviewing the finished work, the directors came back to say the video looked and sounded great, and that they were very happy with it.
It also showed the single day approach works. Booking early, before the light went, meant everything was captured in one visit with no need to come back.
Why this project worked
Moving into a park home is a big decision, and people are buying into a community as much as a property. Real residents talking honestly about their lives does more to sell that than any amount of polished copy. This project gives Charles Simpson Organisation a set of voices and images that show Clifton Park as it actually is, which is exactly what someone weighing up a move needs to see.
