Eric Johnson Multimedia Journalist and co-presenter of The Wright StuffEric Johnson is best known in the UK for co-hosting Britain’s brightest daytime show, The Wright Stuff on Channel 5. He joined the daily debate series in 2007 and quickly established himself as a firm favourite on the channel and morning television.

Companies he has worked for include Global Radio, RealNetworks, Hutchison 3G, Princess Productions, BBC, Channel 4 and British Sky Broadcasting.

Eric is a self-confessed news junky, but he hasn’t always been. For many years, he was a child actor, appearing in numerous television shows and films. At the age of 14, he was chosen to appear in CBBC’s long running and hugely popular drama series, Grange Hill, which he was in for two years.

Being an avid fan of internet technology and entertainment, he is excited about the continuing progress they make together in the digital age as digital music and video expand.

Eric lives in Hertfordshire and leads an active life by running approximately 10 miles a week and working out at the gym whenever possible. He enjoys cooking for friends and inventing ever-more elaborate curry dishes. He also has a red belt in the Korean martial art, TaeKwon-Do and has competed in several national championships.
