The Wright Stuff is the most successful live daytime talk show in Britain, hosted by Matthew Wright and broadcast on Five each weekday at 9:00am. Its format is based upon the more traditional radio phone-in, featuring well-known guests discussing topical issues, and encouraging contributions from the studio and television audiences, text messages and e-mails.
I started the position of Audience Researcher in September 2007. The job itself has a screen role, where I am known as the 'man with the mic'. I sit in the audience and act as the intermediary between Matthew and the audience when they contribute to discussions.
My other duties include interviewing celebrities and actors at red carpet film premieres, vox popping and organising the audience for upcoming shows.
